Meal Replacement Box of 50 Toffee, Nut and Raisin Bars

When I first started using the Exanté diet for weight loss and weight management, around 8-years ago, this bar was the highlight of the entire diet for me. It was superb in all of it's crunchy, chewy, and nutty glory, and it seemed distinctly 'anti-diet'. Exanté's original recipe was better than ANY other muesli style bar I'd ever tasted - it was deliciously crunchy, chewy, not too sweet and perfectly filling. To me, the flavour wasn't much like toffee, but it didn't matter, because they were SCRUMMY. I ate one of these bars daily, for years, at every lunchtime. Then, Exanté had to quit selling these, due to supplier/ production issues, as I was informed by customer services. I was ever so disappointed, no - devastated! When Exanté brought back these bars after approximately a year or perhaps a bit less (?), I was really excited. I ordered a box of 50-straight away. When they arrived, they were quite different to the original recipe, but I still enjoyed the crunchy, chewiness of the bars, so I accepted the changes and resumed eating these bars daily. However, each batch of 50 I purchased, seemed to vary considerably in flavour and consistency. Some batches were very good, while others were, ummmm - "not so much." This carried on for another year, approximately. Earlier this year, both the recipe AND packaging were altered, and sadly, though the bars are now much more consistent in taste and texture, they are not improved. :( I was told by Customer Setvices that once again, Exanté had changed manufacturers, which also seems to have involved yet more changes to the recipe. Unfortunately. I find the bars less filling and the flavour is less palatable. I still like the bars and I eat them, but they are no longer the exceptionally delicious product they once were, and I no longer look forward to eating them. It's just another diet meal. Those who enjoy crunchy, chewy, sweet foods, will likely be satisfied with these bars. TO: the Exanté Diet Directors, PLEASE change back to the ORIGINAL recipe for these bars! They were SO GOOD and your original bars really set Exanté apart from the other VLCD vendors. Though, the bars are "not too bad," they are now nothing really special. You had something truly outstanding and exceptional in that original toffee, nut and raisin bar recipe. It beat Lighter Life and Cambridge diet bar products, hands down.

Got a box of these, but never trying them thought I might regret it. They are LUSH. I love Toffee, I Love nuts, I Love Raisins, ( although they are very few and far between ) We need more Peanuts though. Not for anyone with a nut allergy, but I could seriously live off these. Thank you for brightening up my diet..
