To use: Mix with 200ml hot water and microwave (700W) for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stand for 1 minute before consuming. For other wattages, see manufacturer's manual. Foul
My first time trying these and they are absolutely foul. It was just inedible, I had to put it in the bin. The taste and the texture are just disgusting.

Not nice
Oh dear. This looks, as bad as it tastes. Grey, bland and looks like ****! I tried spicing it up, mustard etc, anything to make it taste better (forget how it looks) and still couldn't get it remotely edible. I'm afraid this is a miss from me. Sorry.

I did Exante a few years ago and used to really enjoy the shepherds pie mix but unfortunately the recipe seems to have changed and I find it unpalatable. Fortunately only ordered 2 sachets and had to bin the second one, I really couldn't face it.

Fave out of the savory meals
I really like this but I always have to add quite a bit more salt and some herbs for it to taste a bit more like shepherds pie. I also think it would be cool if you could have a separate sachet for the mashed potato instead of mixing the dehydrated potato in with the mince. This way you could layer it up like a proper shepherd's pie. But otherwise, I really like it. It's much less artificial tasting than the carbonara.

As with most of the meal replacements, I find I have to add something to give it a bit more flavour, with this one I crumble some stock cube in and it's fine.

Lovely!
I cook off 75g lean minced beef with a small amount of a beef stock cube and some garlic granules and mix and it’s wonderful! Tastes and feels like you’re eating a mixed up shepherds pie. The most satisfying thing I’ve eaten yet from exante, it truly feels like a ‘proper’ dinner. I know the meal packs get a lot of flak but if you’re creative you can really transform them even while on the 800 cal diet. Amazing!
