Buy yourself some thickly sliced ham from the deli counter to enjoy this filling salad. If you like salad with dressing opt for a low fat (this is less than 3% fat) dressing. This can be enjoyed on any of our diet solution plans, including the VLCD and LCD diets.
25g watercress, washed and dried
3 large radishes, sliced
6 small gherkins, chopped
1 tbsp pickled silverskin onions, drained
100g thickly sliced ham, rolled and sliced, or roughly chopped
Optional: 1 tbsp low fat French dressing

1. Arrange the watercress on a serving plate and add the ham
2. Top with the radishes, gherkins and onions.
3. Serve at once, adding low fat French dressing if you prefer.
Serving suggestions: Serve at once. If you are not controlling carbohydrates add a wholemeal bread roll to complete your meal.
Storage: Best served at once, but if no dressing is added it can be covered in cling film and refrigerated for up to 4 hours.
