More than 10 stone off, I’m half the woman I was! At 56, I had yo-yo dieted most of my life. I tried every diet you can think of and perhaps a few more! But I wouldn’t commit to any. It just wasn’t that important. Seeing pictures of myself at my biggest gave me a real shock. I was 22st 3lb when I joined Exante Diet in January 2013.
I’m still getting used to seeing a much slimmer figure in the mirror to the one that began the Exante Diet Total Solution in January, last year. I really want to maintain my weight. It was such a big difference and it takes a while for your head to catch up with your body. Every now and then I have a double-take when I see myself in the mirror. And when I’m ironing sometimes I think ‘whose jeans are they?’ and then I realise they’re mine. But the strange thing is I can’t actually remember being that big. I can’t remember looking like that.
I struggled with my weight for most of my life but it was only since I’d been on Exante Diet that I realised how unhealthy my eating habits were before. It was just easy for me to buy a loaf of bread and eat toast and sandwiches all day.
I now follow a strict three-meals-a-day diet, each of 200 calories. I get all the vitamins and minerals I need while reducing my calorie intake. I feel marvellous. I’m really glad I did it. It has made me a lot more active, I can walk a lot. I would really heavily recommend it and encourage others who are uncomfortable with their weight to do the same. The food is very tasty (my favourite was
Exante Diet Double Chocolate Bar) and you meet a great network of people who help each other through it.
I’ve maintained my weight loss since March and have set a new goal to lose a stone and a half by January 2015. Am getting more used to people’s reactions and really enjoying life to the full. 10 stone, 1.5 stone to go!
