Seriously delicious shakes, really didn't know what to expect but they are lovely. Way better than other brands. I use almost 300ml of water and they are still thick and creamy. My least favourite id the mint choc, its not bad but just has a funny aftertaste, still perfectly edible but the others are better.
I love the exante shakes, I found if I put water in first and then the powder it doesn't go lumpy, give it a good shake it and brilliant... Not powdery or lumpy at all. I'm not a banana or coconut fan normally but they are really yummy! I'm 2 shakes a day -(breakfast and lunch) and then a low carbs low calorie meal for dinner. It's working a treat and is helping with my med conditions too! Totally give this 5 ***** and wish I'd found it earlier!
Great tasting product, shakes are thick and creamy, really fill you up. I would recommend the shakes to anyone who wants to kick start a diet.
I purchased the 12 week 5:2 shake diet off a Groupon recently to help maintain a low calorie diet that my husband and I have been trying. We were concerned that by doing a low calorie diet for 6 weeks we would be missing out on other nutrients, so decided to give this a try two days a week to supplement any essential vitamins and minerals we needed. We have been going almost 2 weeks now and so far have been impressed with the variety and taste of the shakes. The fruit flavours do not necessarily taste like the real fruit but almost more like a candy version, which suits me for banana as I am not a fan but can manage this shake. And they are nice and creamy which I personally like. I usually am still a little hungry at the end of the day though especially as I walk a lot, so I have supplemented the the 3 shakes with a single egg on shake days later in the evening to keep me from eating junk before bed which is enough to keep me on track otherwise. I have also separately purchased a few other flavours I thought sounded good and think honeycomb is my new favourite. I don't necessarily think this kind of diet is sustainable long-term for me, (we do Mon and Thurs as two days back to back would be difficult for us to maintain), but it's definitely worth a try in the short-term for our current weight loss goals.
Only recently tried the Exante Diet Shakes and loved loved loved them. Easy to prepare and taste amazing. For extra zing just add a couple of ice cubes. Super creamy and moreish. Excellent choice and variety, so give it a go. Nothing to lose except the pounds and inches.
Great range of flavours to keep the hunger at bay on fasting days
EXCELLENT! So pleased every shake has a delicious taste, easy to make, suitable for on the go, filling, boosted energy, great price. The list could go on! I'm already noticing a difference the weight is coming off me and I've a boost of energy so glad I got these!
I have ordered this before, but was very pleased to receive a slightly different selection this time. There were a couple of new flavours I hadn't tried before which was good.
The Exante package arrived save and sound, stuffed to the gunnels with exciting silver packets of dehydrated milkshake. It looked like space food, and I couldn't wait to start. Following the instructions, I added the required quantity of water to the first packet (vanilla). I had a hard time getting rid of all the lumps of powder, trying first with the spring whisk provided in the kit, then a spoon, and finally a balloon whisk. The resulting shake was extremely think, tasted of wheat, and had a horrible slimey texture. I managed to get half way through, but gave up and poured the rest down the sink. I tried the chocolate one next, which again came out thick and wheaty, and not at all like chocolate. I got a little further with that one, but the sink still got a fair quantity of it. I was on the verge of giving up, until this morning when I decided to ignore the instructions. Today, I mixed 2 spoons of canderel with two tablespoons of blueberry smoothie shake mix and 200ml of cold water - the resulting shake was actually palatable; lighter, lump free, and quite pleasant. At this rate, I'll probably only manage to get through one and a half packets today rather than three, still, at least this way I can actually drink the milkshakes. Looking forward to losing weight over the coming months, m.
