To use: Mix with 140ml of cold water in a large microwavable bowl. Microwave for 1 minute (700W). Stir. Microwave for a further 1 minute. Stand for 1 minute before consuming. What I don't understand about this porridge is why it's been put made to produce something with the texture of sloppy baby food in stead of the texture of porridge. It has whole rolled oats in it, but presumably they've been blitzed and when added to the oat bran and oat flour it's just a packet of 'dusty stuff'. With the recommended amount of water it's very sloppy so if you like things a bit firmer I'd suggest using slightly less water than directed. My biggest issue with this product was how sweet it was - it's over-poweringly sweet, so much so that I really couldn't eat more than a couple of spoons. A fair number of the non-VLCD porridge pots come in at the same (or slightly less) calorific value and have more texture which makes the only USP of this product the added vitamins and minerals...honestly I'd rather go for a plain Oats So Simple at 180 calories and pop a multi-vitamin pill!

Not usually a fan of porridge but wow! This is really nice and creamy.
This Apple and Cinnamon Porridge is delicious, I make mine in a pan on the hob to get the consistency I prefer. You can also make Porridge cookies using less water and baking them, which is a nice change.
Looks nothing like the pictures and the preparation instructions need a rethink (I'd suggest 100ml of water and cook for longer in the microwave to make it marginally thicker) for some reason this is now supplied in sachets rather than the previous pots which were far more convenient, I think the recipe has also changed - I won't be buying this gloopy mess again! Very disappointed.
This is a really yummy porridge a great start to even the coldest day......really worth getting up for !!!
This is lovely. Very warming and comforting. Texture like Ready Brek . I use a small whisk to make it smooth as it can get a little lumpy.
I absolutely love the apple and cinnamon porridge! It was lovely and so tasty , my only issue is that it was a bit watery...but by cooking it in the microwave for a minute or so more it made it abit thicker

Really delicious taste and keeps you full for ages. Nice lumps of Apple and not too much cinnamon. Try mixing with cold water in the shaker bottle then heat. This will avoid lumps. Also use slighly less water than advised and add more if you need to. Make sure you let it stand and stir well before eating to make it nice and creamy.
