I was surprised at how tasty this was. It’s delicious, comforting, feels like a treat and oh so addictive but because it’s so filling I’m left feeling satisfied. I often like having this as my last meal of the day, after a savoury meal or shake at midday and a yummy strawberry and yogurt bar at tea time.
This makes a nice change from shakes - don't be put off by the look - it does a good job - is warm, ticks 'comfort eating' boxes, and is filling. My micro does not have 700W - spilled everywhere when I used normal setting of 1000W! It works fine using 600W and I make sure I watch it as it still tends to boil over
This is very sweet and tasty. Perfect if you’re fancying a sweet dessert x
I read the reviews before purchasing and saw some suggestions to prepare in a pan on the stove instead of microwaving for a more custard-like consistency. It smelt really nice making it with this method and I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately the overriding taste was salt! I didn't get any crumble bits but there were teeny tiny cubes of apple but I wouldn't get this again.
I LOVE apple crumble, and although I didn't expect this to resemble it perfectly, it really just tasted like a slightly sweet porridge to me , with a salty edge and an aftertaste. I liked the little apple pieces though, and it was palatable, so I finished it. I found it really difficult to mix this one in well. Also, the illustrated instructions say to add hot water then microwave, and the written instructions say to add cold water then microwave. Not sure if adding the hot water led to an inferior experience for me!
I managed just over half before I felt I'll. It goes super thick really quickly and not the best texture. I do appreciate the apple chunks though, it's nice to have something hot to chew.
This is warm , tasty & comfort food !! I put a little less water in it & made it slightly thicker Wow soooo good
This is delicious, I always make min in a pan on the hob. I find I have consistently excellent results making it that way, very quick to prepare and taste amazing. The crumble pieces and the soft yummy chunks of Apple, I could eat the everyday and never get bored. Sweet, satisfying and filling.
I had high hopes for this one. But personally it is not one of my favourites. I wish it was thicker.
First one of these I tried I made a bit of a mess in the microwave. Had it on too long and it turned all gloopy. Second one I did I was more careful doing 1 minute, then adding 10 seconds at a time until 40 seconds later it was ready. Tastes delicious, with plenty of apple bits in it. When I fancy something sweet I now turn to this. Top marks for a lovely satisfying pudding. 10/10
