These bars are great value and are delicious
Good if you use the hack!!
When I first tried the cookie I bit into it straight out the packet and although the choc and mint flavour is strong it was sooooo dry in texture!! Then I read someone said microwave it for 20 seconds to make it a bit gooey. So I microwaved it and it was radioactive!!! (I may have a higher powered microwave!) When it is too hot not only do you burn your mouth but you can really taste the protein, so I though I had destroyed it! However I let it cool down and once it is just warm it tastes quite nice. It has that goeey cookie texture the choc chips melt into it slightly and it has a good minty after taste. It is also really filling and although looks smaller than the bars weighs the same or more, will definitely try again and maybe microwave for 10 seconds this time!
When I bought there were 4 similar shape "cookies" available (Maple & Pecan, White Chocolate, Double Chocolate, and Mint Chocolate). There is one 60g cookie inside each pack. Taste is personal, but I'm glad that I can only see the Double Chocolate and Mint Chocolate options to sell now, because the other two I would never buy again. The cookies taste better when warmed up around 20 seconds in the microwave, but still, I would not buy Maple & Pecan, and White Chocolate again. They are sweet, but if you are buying cookies I guess you like sweet stuff. If you like mint taste, this one, Mint Chocolate, is the best of these 4. It is the only one I couldn't taste the protein. In general I prefer the bars, but I would buy again this cookie, just as an extra option to vary taste.
Not for me
This is not for me the texture and taste I really didn't like
Nice chunky Cookie
The nicest cookie in the range in my opinion. Can taste both the mint and the chocolate Chips. Very filling Would definitely reorder.
I brought 4 of these to try, but will dispose of them as they are very dry and unpalatable. Have tried drip in a drink but it does not help. Will avoid them, as other snack bars in range which are so much better.
I tried these for the first time and will not be buying again you can taste a bit of mint and not much else except the taste of salt, the texture taste like it's been left out to go soggy. Very disappointed.
Does the job
Does the job. Mint. Yup. Chocolate. Yup. Stuck in teeth everywhere... Yup aha
The choc mint cookie is a quick fix for those chocolate cravings without going off plan. Tastes the same as an ordinary cookie and a great partner to a black coffee! Love it!
