This is a good idea, you put the water in the pot and wait and voila... a nice meal. Akin to the pot noodle idea. I don't mind the taste, and it's flavoursome and filling, so ticks the boxes. Bit of a waste of packaging though, but easy to prepare and convenient. Take it to work or anywhere, you only need access to a kettle. Tastes a little remniscent of dahl, so not too out there. I couldn't eat it every day though.
I really enjoyed eating this - it was nice and spicy, fairly filling and really easy to manage in the pot. I added the water to the line but it was quite sloppy - next time I won't add quite as much. I did find I needed to drink quite a bit of water after because I had some powdery stuff at the back of my throat. That wasn't a showstopper as I can see me buying this one more often. Definitely one for eating on the move, it does well as a 5:2 diet day meal that I'm using these products for. In fact, it crossed my mind could I managed three a day and have them for all my meals on a fasting day! Probably not but that thought does show how nice it is.
The reason for my much-needed weight loss? Is Indian and Chinese food, so having such a yummy Indian meal on the menu is a lifeline for me. I am a full-time mother so I don't "work", but having it in a pot I imagine is great for those that do have to do lunch away from home. Who knew a pot meal could taste so good and have only 200 calories? This meal is very filling, easy to make as you only have to add water to the pot and hits the spot. The daal adds texture, and the sauce is very tasty. I have added a little dried chilli for a kick too, however, I don't feel it needs it. I like that it isn't salty too, as I have avoided salt all my life anyway (well, in my home cooked meals, not the takeaways obviously). I have lost 18lbs in 3.5 weeks on the plan, with no exercise, I have never lost weight this quickly or easily! I highly recommend Exante to anyone who listens to me.
These taste really nice and really convenient for work
It's not bad, I like the fact it's in it's own container it makes taking it to work easier, just stir it once and then leave it for a few mins and it's perfect
I have two packs a day which are both filling and enjoyable. A lifeline for me
Quite enjoyable, nice to have something different, fully recommended
I am Indian. Let's start there because I can eat good Indian food any time. I really enjoyed this meal. It had a lot of flavour and the rice cooked well. I think the salt might be a little less, but recently this was really good as is. If you prefer a bit of a kick to this, you could add some spices/tabasco, but it really is good just as it is as well.
Was a little sceptical but followed the instructions plus I added a little salt, pepper and morrocan spice mix to the pot and the taste is amazing! Of course you have to allow for the fact that it may never taste exactly like your fave Asian dish in a restaurant but it's still quite good and personally speaking I am here only because I have eaten far too much in my fave restaurants and also at home. All in all it gets the thumbs up from me.
