Absolutely love these pots. Really easy and quick to make. They taste amazing and really filling
The smell from the packet is very inviting & you think you’re going to be in for a treat. However, I & my partner found this to be disappointing The beans never hydrate if you follow the cooking guide lines & the consistency is that of baby food. Not one we’ll be ordering again
What a great meal just needs a bit more spice which is easy enough to add. Also great as the topping for a lodough pizza
This has the best flavour out of all the meals. Needs to be soaked for 15-20 mins in boiling water before cooking or cooking for much longer than packet instructs due to it containing dried red beans which need time to soften.
Love love love these products. My Favourite is the maple syrup pancakes topped with the sugar free syrup. I actually feel like I'm eating treats rather than meal replacements.
Very tasty and surprisingly filling. Texture is thin compared to mince meat but nonetheless enjoyable. BUT those kidney beans. Following the advice of another reviewer, I mixed the meal with hot water and let it stand for 10 mins before microwaving. The beans were still like little bullets. Second time round I separated the beans and soaked them for 30 mins. That worked and an enjoyable meal ensued. Don't expect it to be exactly like a traditional meat based chilli and you might be pleasantly surprised.
I had high hopes for this one and was very disappointed. It didn't taste good at all and I struggled to finish it. Won't buy again!
This was my 1st meal and I wasn't confident it was going to taste of anything.. however it actually tasted quite nice! It's quite soft with little to no texture.. but the flavour is definitely there! I used lettuce leaves to scoop it up and eat with, this gave it nice texture and added freshness without really altering the meal/calories.
I used my imagination with this one and chose not to think of it so much as a chilli, but more of a bean soup - and it worked. One of my preferred lunches. Would add a little more water than stated on the instructions and leave the beans to soak a while. Satisfying.
