oh my lord - this is bad. just watery bowl of slop with very little taste. added lots of tabasco but couldn't rescue it and Im doing the 600 Kcal VLCD so need every calorie. have 12 packets sitting there that will be binned at the end of my plan.
I am on the man plan so included a couple of these in my initial order. My first meal was bland and tasteless nothing like a Thai Chicken soup. As I entered my second week of the plan I was about to ditch this meal as a write-off and thought let me try adding a small amount of veg from the approved list and some tabasco. The result a decent meal which moved it up from a 1 star to 3 and will now include this in my re-order.
This is definitely one of the better soups- I think it's much better if you double the water added so it's thinner and more like an Asian broth
This is really one of the best soups (apart from tomato which has disappeared off the universe!) I'm not much keen on the bars so usually have shakes and soup. Love the tangy bite to it.
This is a nice soup. Flavoursome and surprisingly filling. Having been on a plan for 4 weeks and having lost 3 stone - my stomache has shrunk. THe selection is amazing!
Didn't really want to recommend this one...Afraid it will get out of stock. This is by far the best , tasty soup
When I was cooking this it smelled absolutely gross and I didn't think I was going to be able to eat it!! However, once it was cooked and I summoned up the courage to try it, it wasn't too bad. Not delicious by any means, but it had a bit of a kick to it and was edible. Definitely tasted a lot better than the smell!
This soup is really nice. After boiling 250ml water with a teaspoon of plain gelatin, chopped chives, a sprinkle of black pepper and pink salt, ground cumin and turmeric, I add the soup powder and chopped cilantro. I mix it vigorously with a whisk in my beautiful hand-painted soup bowl (bought specially for this ritual) and the result is a yummy, creamy, filling and lump-free soup. I would order this again.
This tastes really nice and it's actually quite filling. The problem is it is an absolute nightmare to mix so you end up with a load of lumps which are really not nice to eat. For the next one I'm going to try mix it with cold water in a blender before I heat it up in the microwave.
