The taste is ok but it looks nothing like the picture! I agree with the previous reviews that say it's actually pale grey and makes you feel like you're eating baby food! However if you can eat it with your eyes closed, it does actually taste like Shepherds Pie!
I'm a fan of exante but I found this pretty disgusting . Only just managed to finish it
The best meal so far...mixed up shepherds pie.
It tastes so good! Pretty much exactly like your average shepherds pie without the mashed potato, super happy with this one- and it also smells amazing!! Would definitely recommend and will buy again for sure! One of the best meals
This was the worst meal I’ve ever had I think! It smelt very strong, which was promising. Sadly it’s extremely salty and that’s it! I could only eat 3 mouthfuls before throwing it away. I was so disappointed.
Looked disgusting when made up and pale grey colour. It did taste like shepherds pie but I won’t be ordering again
This is delicious!! Doesn’t really taste like a Shepard’s pie but more like meaty mash, however it’s still lovely! And really filling. I only microwave it for 1 minute rather than the time stated, I defiantly recommend.
Each to his own, but I love these, they're my 'go to' option for my evening meal. I usually use more water than recommended, which gives me a large bowl of very filling food, that tastes pretty good too. (I'm on 5:2).
It is nothing like the photo. Much lighter in colour too. The first one I made, I used the recommended amount of water but it was like cement. I felt sick eating it. It was disgusting. I had bought a few though and refused to bin them so the next time, I added lots more water. What a change. It was quite runny but very easy to eat and tasted much better. Won’t be buying any more but at least I can eat what I have without vomiting.
