I like the taste of this but it's so lumpy even with boiling hot water and mixing it as instructed. If I could work out how to get the lumps out I'd enjoy it.
This soup is creamy powdery and tasteless. I added salt pepper and chilli powder but i just couldn’t get it down. I put it in the bin !!
I only ordered 2 of these so glad I did it was smooth and gloopy the taste was OK but the texture was all wrong I didn't enjoy this at all really sorry
Made the soup according to instructions - awful. Peas remained rock hard and soup itself had a powdery gritty texture. Binned.
Tastes like what it is. Only fault is that the peas which are dry don't soften and stay hard.
With the pieces of vegetable provided, this soup feels like a real meal. It is tasty and filling and does everything that it needs to! I don't feel like turning to the bread to fill up the gaps with Exante soups. They are proving a very useful addition to my meal planning for busy times of the year. They are so easy to prepare that they make choosing the lighter alternative easy....less work / less weight! I'm still experimenting to find the easiest way to actually make the soup!
i love this soup its so thick and creamy i make it in a cup and its really filling
Love this soup its so nice good that its got peas in so got some texture
I wasn't impressed the first time I tried this product, didn't taste of much and peas were rock hard. After experimenting with the preparation I've got it sussed. I add a little salt and pepper and 300 ml, not the recommended 200ml of boiling water, then give it a good whisk, let it stand for a few minutes to soften the peas. Then I microwave it for 60-90 secs until it nearly bubbles over the bowl. Leave it to stand a couple of minutes and the result is a delicious, thick and tasty soup. I think a lot of the products need tweaking to suit different tastes, bit this works for me.
I ordered these when i started my exante journey back in april, but I've not got round to trying them until now - when it's colder and i don't automatically reach for a shake. I'm pleasantly surprised and a little disappointed at the same time - this is pretty close to a normal cuppa soup. in fact, it's pretty close to being BETTER than a normal cuppa soup. the texture is really nice, and it tastes really creamy, but unfortunately, no other tastes really come through. I can't really drop a star for that as it's a completely inoffensive winter warmer, lovely for lunch at work in a mug when everyone else is having soup, but just a little underwhelming in terms of veg flavour. I'll keep ordering and keep eating them, but they could do with a little 'boost'!
