Horrible
1Sorry but for me these risotto pots are awful, consistency like baby food, unlike any risotto I have every tried texture wise. Very peppery in taste, 0 stars.

Words can’t describe
1I have been pretty impressed with the flavour and quality of most of the products in my Exante four week diet box so far so ordered five of these and the mushroom risotto to add a bit of variety. I have never tasted anything so hideous as this risotto. I couldn’t even finish it. The taste, the consistency. Yuk. The other four have gone in the bin. Being strict about what you eat will obviously result in missing out on truly delicious however no amount of weight loss would make me eat another one of these again.

Surprisingly good
4This was my first order from Exante, one of two pots and a pancake mix. The summary is: this won't be my last order! I'm not sure why this is called a meal replacement as it's a meal. It's a small meal, yes, but tasty and surprisingly filling. I had hoped it would be homely, suggestive of cosy kitchen fare, reading nooks on rainy days and escaping the winter chill. It succeeded. I wasn't expecting it to do such a good job at lasting as I feared I'd hover a tiny portion down in a mouthful. My future plans are to get more of this and similar posts for lunches at work. Hot food from hot water is simply convenient. Add an apple or banana to the lunch and we're at a good meal level. Overall? Give it a try; I did and was pleased.

Disgusting
1Made me heave. The texture was lole sludge and the taste was too peppery I couldn't eat more than 2 mouths full

Pretty saty tasting
2Consistency is to be expected but my GOODNESS it's salty, and that's coming from someone who loves salt! I'm bloomin ravenous but I don't actually think I can even eat all of it. Still, it helped me drink lots of water! Every cloud :)

Couldn't Eat :(
2I was so excited to try the risotto! But the taste is very unpleasant and very artificial. Otherwise, despite the other reviews, I thought the consistency was fine. I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls :(

A matter of taste
4As so often with reviews it comes down to individual taste and preference; I enjoy savoury foods and found this extremely tasty..herby rather than salty as another reviewer said. I used the recommended amount of water but left 10 minutes and all cooked well. Expectations should be managed, this is a meal replacement for 200 calories it will not look like an Italian restaurant risotto but it is filling, tasty and hopefully helping to shift the pounds which is the reason everyone is buying in the first place

1This is the first product I've tried that wasn't a bar or shake, sorry to say it doesn't live up to normal standards , I can't describe what the taste is other than disgusting, avoid this and order one of the many delicious products Exante make
