Not for me
2Being a savoury gal I had high hopes for this one. I'm yet to find an exante savoury meal that I fully enjoy and sadly this one missed the mark too :-( as others have said it's very salty, and mixed with the paste-y texture it makes it hard to eat. I managed a couple of spoonfuls but had to throw the rest away. What I did like was the fact it was in a handy on-the-go pot and just needed boiling water to make.

Baby food but with no taste
1I wanted to try this meal as although it did have mixed reviews, it sounded like it would be nice and I’m not overall fussy with my food. I could not have been more wrong - I managed to stomach about 3/4 of it before giving up and throwing it out. Such a shame as I did have high hopes. Found it was very salty and just unappealing. It looked and had a textured consistency like baby food which just ruined it. The only positives was how quick it was to cook and smelt quite appealing

TOMATO AND RED PEPPER POT
4I was desperate for a new pot meal after the spag bol was discontinued. I am not a fan of risotto in the real world but thought I would give this a try anyway. To be honest, it looks horrid but it is actually really tasty!! It has a lovely herby taste and I agree with other reviewers that it is a bit salty but - look on the bright side, eating one of these will also help with your water intake target. I would say it's worth a try. It won't be a favourite of mine but I bought 4 in this order and will eat them all.

Not bad!
4I was concerned this would be too tomatoey, but it wasn’t. The texture was just like risotto. Not my favourite flavour, but enjoyable and a welcome addition to vary the hot meal options.

Far too salty
1I thought the mushroom "risotto" I tried yesterday was salty with 1.8g per pot, but this took the crown, and that's not a good thing. This little pot has 2.4g of salt - which is 40% of your recommended daily maximum. The salt content was so high it made my tongue sore and I couldn't finish it. I have high blood pressure so need to watch my salt intake - please, please, please Exante cut the salt content down in your products. Use herbs and spices instead for flavour.

Awful
1This is not good. It is going in the bin just like the Mushroom one. Come on Exante we are human beings who want a meal that tastes nice. What a waste of money.

Too salty!
1Like the mushroom flavour this tomato risotto has an overwhelming taste of salt. I couldn’t eat more than a few mouthfuls before having to put it in the bin. So disappointing. Would not recommend and will not buy again. I now have seven tubs that I can’t stomach.
