Horrible
1I absolutely adore birthday cake (that's why I'm on a diet 😂) and was longing to try this. Oh dear..... The texture is strange and claggy. The taste - hard ti describe, but nothing whatsoever like birthday cake, or any cake at all. Sweet, synthetic and nasty. If it had been possible to leave a MINUS rating, I would have.

Wasn’t keen on the taste
3as I was sent this Item as a freebie my partner tried it as he’s vegetarian, he said it taste like a normal protein bar not a very nice taste. He didn’t finish it all… so he must have not liked it

Increased sugar
2Tastes more like the lemon bar now but again overly sweet. These bars and Exante products are becoming less and less like diet products. This explains why not able to stay on this diet anymore practually all products have 10g and up of carbs with sugar. So you start craving sugar.Looking at older purchased products 11g and less.

Very nice
4I wouldn’t say this tasted exactly like birthdays cake but it is still one of my favourite bars. It’s got a nice soft texture and I love the little crunchy bits inside (they’re cake sprinkles) and enjoy with a cuppa. It’s always one on my order.

3I’m new to Exante and this is the first product I’ve tried so it may sway my opinion until I get used to them. The texture is like a cheaper protein bar and it does have a nice sweet flavour however I can’t distinguish the flavour to be birthday cake. It’s just vanillery. I feel like with the texture chocolate may be nicer. 5/10. Wouldn’t order them but if they came free I’d definitely finish them.

Delicious
5Absolutely delicious - loved it. Not like the other bars that can be hard and taste chemically and just have that diet protein flavour. These tasted sweet and has a softer texture - almost cake like.
