Not real food
2Reviews I had read said the food was 'real' but it so isn't. The 'meals' are wierd mush and the bars taste really salty. I did like the jam and cookies bar and the lemon cheesecake shake but that's it. Afraid I won't be buying any more.

1 week taster pack
4Really enjoyed trying the different meal replacements within this taster pack. It helped me to work out what I would have again. I didn't rate it 5 as I didn't like everything but I didn't expect to really.

Great start!
5I've done Cambridge and Lighter Life so I know VLCDs work - they're just so expensive..... Until now!! Exante is easy to stick to due to the largest range of VLCD products I've ever seen, and the fact they all taste SO much better than their rivals! Lost 7lb in a week and gone on to order more products. At this price you can use as 5:2 and use them on your fast days!

7 day taster
5Plenty of variety to try so that you can get a general overview of a wide selection of products. I'd never tried anything like this before and found it easy to follow, prepare and enjoyable to eat. No, it's not like eating normal food but I never expected that. For me it was a way of getting some kind of order back into what had become very unhealthy, chaotic eating habits. For the price it's definitely worth giving it a try.

1 week trial
4I purchased the one week trial pack of meals, shakes and bars. It came with a really good shaker which is great as my old one needed replacing and wasn't as good a standard. I tried the cookies and cream bar first and found it tasted rather strange and not really to my liking. The other bars such as double chocolate and raspberry cereal were okay and very filling. I really love the pancakes and shakes especially lemon cheesecake and chocolate orange the taste and smell was excellent for a diet food, I have recommended the shakes to a friend who is gluten free in replace for the herbalife. As someone with a nutrition degree who teaches biology for a living I found that I would recommend using these alongside meals which I have been doing. I am really impressed with the food scientists who made some of these items they are nice tasting and smell fantastic. How they get the balance of macro and micro nutrients to such a good standard is really helpful for those of us who struggle to get some of our daily intakes, iron, calcium and vitamin c for example.
