I had a brian wave... (or even a brain wave, (sorry Brian! lol) Preheated oven to 200C. I made up a beef casserole as instructed and made up a cheese and bacon scone mix. Then I put half of the beef casserole into two small pie dishes/large ramekins, and carefully spooned half the scone mix in an even(ish) layer over each. Popped them in oven for approx 10 mins til goldne on top, and hey presto, DH and I (both on Exante) had a tasty wee meat pie each, piping hot and not all runny, as seems to be the problem with the beef casserole if made up purely according to instructions, Added a little Worcester sauce to mix as well... yum, do try this! Really nice and really like a suet pastry minced meat pie.

I find the 'meaty' meal replacements are very similar in taste and texture, with very little to distinguish them in terms of aftertaste. I like to add mustard, horseradish, soy sauce or Worcestershire Sauce to create some differences. Having said that, the meals are filling and substantial enough that I don't find myself looking for something else to eat in between meals, so that's a big plus.

I got started only a week ago and this was my third dinner. I am very pleased with almost everything but this was just absolutely disgusting. Tried to force it down after tasting it but ended up flushing it down the toilet. Dreadful. Would not recommend to anyone!

This is totally vile! And the only Exante meal I could not stomach. It's gritty and tastes NOTHING like Beef Casserole! Exante tasters need sacking on this one, sorry 

I couldn't eat this, vile! Followed instructions which made it luke warm, so heated it up some more, still revolting. Actually made me feel sick. Gave it another go a few days later, 2 spoonfuls of this slop and switched to soup instead. RECOMMEND it is removed from sale, bring back Chilli that was delicious, as are all the other products. PS have lost 1 stone 3lbs in two weeks!!!
