Pot meal
1Honestly, don’t buy this, it’s really gross, I made it tasted it and chucked it straight in the bin, buy the bars or shakes instead.

1Truly awful - truly truly awful - inedible - do not buy it or eat it - it will ruin your taste buds forever !! Poor hot water into it (so no human or animal can eat it ! ) and then take pot, contents and hot water and throw it straight into the bin. I find porridge in the morning the best !!

Beef?!
1This really wasn’t nice. Couldn’t taste the beef flavour in it and was just bizarre texture - as some bits remained hard - despite soaking. It was just not an enjoyable meal - so bad I chose not to eat instead after few mouthfuls!

It’s ok
3I had this for tea tonight and the first thing I noticed compared to the porridges is that there is not a lot of it. You just need 180ml hot water. It smells and looks like beef and tomato pot noodle but the main ingredient is soy protein, followed by rice. The texture is weird. I kept almost breaking my teeth on dry beans where the water hadn’t got to them, and the texture reminded me of that horrible cheap mince in asda microwave meals. I used to be veggie so I do remember veggie mince having a similar texture, non descript chewy flakes. The overall flavour is just savoury. I couldn’t put my finger on what it actually tastes of but it wasn’t bad. I hope that makes sense. I disagree that it needs salt, but possibly some garlic paste if you have any, or a bit of white pepper. I’d probably buy it again if I get bored of shakes.

Shame smell doesn't match taste
4Smells lush but the flavour isn't quite strong enough. Add a bit of your own. Texture good tho.

I liked it
4This one is not as nice as the Indian Daal pot but its still good! You need to make sure you let it soak up the water you add otherwise the beans will be hard. Stir well too. It may need a little salt added or just something else added to give it a bit of a kick but it was OK on its own for me.

2Not the best tasting product! You need to add a drop of your own sauce to make it taste of something.
