My favourite!

This is my favourite (with shepherd's pie being the close second) diet meal. It really makes a difference for me that it's not just all soups and shakes but also meals that resemble actual food. Easy to make and very tasty.

This was one of the first meals I had from Exante and it put me off doing the diet to be honest. The taste was very strange - not like any bolognaise I have ever tasted!!! Was very salty and a strange lingering synthetic taste remains after you have swallowed a spoonful. Definitely one to avoid.....although is edible unlike the tomato and basil soup and pasta, ham and mushroom soup!!! I think Exante does the shakes and bars the best and desserts - the hot stuff just simply isn't nice.

Quite nice meal, I thought it was rather herby rather than beefy. After having shakes and bars, having a 'hot meal' was very welcome at the end of the day and it set my stomach up very comfortably for the rest of the evening and got me through to bedtime. Will definitely have this one again.

I found this dish to be really quite salty but bland in flavour. Adding some dried herbs might help though. Some added texture with soy protein, although next time I might try cooking it a little longer as the soy was still a little gritty.

This is a tasty dinner. It reminded me of canned spaghetti bolognese of the 70's, similar texture - the sauce is quite smooth - and little strands of spaghetti. It's nice and herby but has a sweetness about it too.
