salty soup!
3Perhaps I will try cooking this on the hob as another reviewer suggested, but I found this to be watery and powdery (not a nice combination) even though I followed the cooking instructions to the letter. I find all the foods in the diet too salty (even the apple and cinnamon porridge!) and this one is no exception. However, it is warm, satisfying and filling, and does feel like you're eating a 'real meal'!

Love It, Love It, Love It
5I Love the taste of this pasta dish. Having read some of the reviews I expected it to be really salty, but did not find it so. I first made it with too much water which made it into more of a soup, which was very tasty and satisfying. The second time I made it I followed the packet and it turned out more like pasta in a thick paste, which was not quite as nice, so now I always make it with more water. I find it easier to sieve the flavouring into a bowl, cook the pasta in a pan of water, then when it is soft, add the flavouring a little at a time. Having had a shake for breakfast and lunch, it is a pleasure to have this for dinner and I now look forward to it. A big thumbs up for this dish.

Not like the real thing, but still tasty.
4This carbonara is obviously not going to be as nice as the real thing made with bacon, cheese and cream! However this was nice and as I am a big fan of carbonara this was particularly good as I didn't expect to like it based on my expectations and experience of real carbonara. I do think it is a bit salty though, so that's my reasoning for 4 stars and not 5.

Salty
2I love love love pasta however this taste like drinking sea water it's soooo salty I couldn't eat it very sorry for bad comment however salt needs to be reduced in this meal. It's a good far sized meal smells lovely shame about salty taste

Edible but very salty.
2Made the way you're told to this makes a very strong flavoured and salty pasta dish. If I were to try it again I'd probably add more water but it would then become more like a soup as its fairly gloopy anyway. I added some Italian herbs and it made it more palatable. Disappointed by this product so I doubt I'll purchase anymore of it.

Similar to instant noodles.
4This tasted pretty similar too instant noodles; not too bad, a little artificial. The pasta is quite hard unless you leave it for a few minutes to soak up water, so it's worth making sure it's cooked properly. Nice to have as a 'proper meal'.

Lovely, Rich and Tasty
5No I am not describing my ideal man...but the delicious Exante Pasta Carbonara, it does not taste like a 'diet' product at all it is very rich and creamy. It is very filling, definitely one of my favourite 'lunches' to have. I leave mines sitting for an extra few minutes, and it is deliciously thick! Big thumbs up to Exante for this gorgeous product!

Way too salty on its own
3I like pasta, love cheese and have a high tolerance for salt but this was far too salty for me to have without anything else added to it. As I had lots I now mix half of it with one of the soups and its much better. I don't tend to much as much water in and I cook it on the hob as it takes much longer for the pasta to become edible and I can keep an eye on the consistency.

Not bad
4This dish tasted very nice but to watery even though adding the correct amount of water it says on the packet, it was more like soup with pasta in it, even though it tasted nice considering how watery it was still had lots of flavour and would recommend this product!
