Pasta Carbonara
3I followed the revised instructions for the pasta carbonara and after 1.5 mins in the microwave everything boiled over and formed a skin. I stirred and put back for half a min. The result was a slightly bizarre soup with pieces of pasta. It's very runny but actually tastes quite nice and is reasonably filling. Would certainly use a jug in the microwave instead of a bowl and perhaps this will prevent the overflow.

Surprising
4I thought this sounded a bit yucky to be honest. Then when I saw the pack I thought it would turn out to be Carbonara Soup. What a pleasant tasty surprise awaited me (once I had cleaned the microwave)! My bowl was half empty due to the microwave debarcle (and I see I am not the only one) but the food was filling and enjoyable. I quite liked the chewy element to the pasta. I looked forward to the next day's portion - still issues with the microwave - but I am learning!

This really isn't for me!
1I hate to say it but I find this Pasta Carbonara really unpleasant. I don't like the flavour as it is very artificial, the texture of the pasta is all wrong and the smell is pretty awful too. It really is the only product in the range that I don't like at all and cant bear to eat.

Tasty but fiddly
3The flavour of this carbonara is great, however, I've still not quite figured out the best way of making it. Just adding boiling water doesn't really get the pasta thoroughly cooked, but adding hot water then microwaving even in 10-20 second bursts leads to a messy microwave. Might try cooking it on the hob until I get the technique right. However, it's a lovely, tasty option especially for dinner, and adds texture and variety to the diet.

Jury it out
3Well for me the Jury is out on this product. I have tried it a couple of times now as a friend had some packs left over and I wanted to try before I buy. I followed the instructions found on the website about standing the product and then microwaving before standing again and still I found the pasta chewy. That said, the product tasted nice and I found that I did feel full afterwards.

4Like all the other products on sale this is very tasty and although I didn't feel 'full' I did feel satisfied. My only grumble is the amount you get, it barely fills a cup, which is fine as you soon get used to it but the picture indicates a bowl full, this is misleading and disappointing the first time you make it when, lets face it, at the end of the first day you are ravenous!! albeit its delicious and I have ordered more!!

5This is great for lunchtime when you’re in the office. It’s really easy to make, very satisfying and filling!
