Don’t bother
1Horrid. Absolute nothing like carbonara. It smells horrid and it has a weird flavour.... almost like a banana flavour as weird as that sounds.

Absolutely Revolting
1This was one of the most disgusting things I have ever tasted. The horrible smell hits you first followed by a taste that I cannot even describe but it’s definitely not cheesy. DO NOT BUY THIS

Better than the others
4I separated the pasta from the powder and cooked that first, so the pasta was soft. Then I added in the powder and cooked for 1 minute as per the packet. I added some garlic powder and pepper, and it really improved the flavour. The sauce is creamy (which is the same as the others but more palatable in something which is actually supposed to be creamy) so that made it more like a proper meal. It is sweet, which I'm not keen on but better than the others. Best of the ones I have tried.

Disappointing
1I had high hopes for this carbonara, however first thing that struck me was the strong chemical smell on opening the packet. Ithought it may get better once made up ....how wrong I was ! This is without doubt the most disgusting meal I have ever tasted. Strong artificial cheese taste and the smell is indescribable. Stay well away from this one !

1This was absolutely disgusting, smelled vile, followed the instructions and the pasta was still hard. Does not resemble carbonara or look anything like the pictures 😫

Yuck
1Really unappealing, followed the instructions but the pasta noodles were still crunchy. I had to add a whole tonne of black pepper to even manage to eat it. Heed the other reviews

Absolutely Awful
1I really struggled to stomach this one. Its overly salty and the texture really doesn't resemble anything appetitising. Even for meal replacements I was disapointed with this.

Just doesn’t taste right
1The texture is creamy and it does smell nice on preparing but the actually taste is too bad. I tried adding black pepper but it didn’t help at all. It’s a shame I had high hopes for this one despite the poor reviews. I always believe in trying for yourself and I did and won’t again!!

Disappointing
1Having tried several of the meals, which were ok, moving onto the carbonara was awful. A revolting smell pervaded the house, and no amount of added herbs and spices could get rid of that awful taste. The next order will be largely avoiding the meals, and definitely the carbonara.
