Yummo!!
5I've had these carbonara meals and never liked them. But NOW what I do is put one pack in my 1 Ltr Pyrex jug with boiled water with up to 1/2 Ltr of water with about 1 tsp of the 'Season All' (a little bit spicy) from Sainsburys and microwave for 2 minutes (with stirring a few times - as it may boil over) and make this as more of a soup. Much more satisfying than the way it should be made!! Try it :o)

Best Meal I Have Tried So Far
4Shocked by all the bad reviews- I thought this was delish for something that came out of a packet. Previously had the sweet and sour noodles which I also liked but the second bowl of that wasn't great. I also had the butternut squash and sweet potato soup, also ok but not great. Finally I ordered the spaghetti bolognaise, that was definitely the worst - very odd flavour, no tomato taste at all. But this... I loved! I do understand some of the other reviews - very strong cheesy taste (which I love!), very creamy and LOTS of sauce (again... I love!). This actually tasted 'carbonara flavoured' - not restaurant standard but as I already said, it came out of a packet! Only ordered 2, should have ordered more!

Inedible
1This made me feel sick. I threw this in the bin after two mouthfuls, it tastes and smells disgusting. Thankfully I only bought one packet!!

Unable to eat
1I personally couldn’t eat this. It smelt rather awful and the taste was worse. This is the only product I haven’t actually enjoyed so don’t let this put you off exante.

2I like creamy sauces but the cheese and bacon smell was overwhelming with this meal, not for me.

Carbonara
2Far too salty. The pasta wasnt quite cooked so added a drop more water, and cooked for another 1 minute. However very very salty

Not the best
3Now when I first started the replacement meals I was sceptical about taste. I have now tried them all but this one my least favourite. It’s too salty and trying too hard to taste of bacon. It’s really not my favourite

Nice with chicken and mushrooms
3This is really nice and creamy. Even nice if you add lean chicken and mushrooms from the approved list.

Not for me
3Not really a fan of this one I’m afraid - texture and consistency of baby food. Quite sickly and could only manage a couple of mouthfuls.
