Pretty filling
5I'm a big fan of these sausages. It might sound odd but I've got into the habit of having them for breakfast. It's not exactly a fry up but I like a hot breakfast (i.e. not shakes) and this is the best option! I make them into meatballs or small patties rather than sausages. They cook up well and don't stick to the pan.

3The flavour is quite nice. I didn't attempt to make sausages. I made them (as thin as possible) little patties. If it is cooked crispy, it's nice, but when it is thick, it is pasty. A nice change :)

4 sausages you'll be lucky
4I ended up making these in to 2 little flat burgers to make sure they were evenly cooked. They were very strong in flavour and I really enjoyed them.

Nice!
5Found this really tasty. Mixed it up really thoroughly so not bits or powdery bits. Squashed it into a burger shape just for ease so it got nice and crispy both sides. Texture wise if you've had veggie burgers/sausages or falafel burgers then it's not dissimilar. Taste was quite strong, well seasoned but I liked it. I would have loved a bit of sauce on it! As mentioned by other you wouldn't be making four sausages out of it, 2 perhaps. Those naughty people and their creative photography again ;)

not quite a sausage but nice
3Smells like sausage but found taste a bit powdery fir me. Easier to squad it into a burger shape fir me to cook. Nice with steamed spinach though.

4Need to roll them thin or they're a bit stogy but good flavour and feels like you're actually eating a sausage

Smells like sausage
3Please note: this was the first ever exante diet product that I have tried. Texture I would liken the texture to Scottish 'square' sausages, quite chewy on the outside which I did like. Unfortunately as others have said, the texture changes throughout and as I'm not really a fan of finding 'bits' in food, the texture isn't for me. Taste You'll be glad to hear that there is a sausage-like taste, unfortunately this is overpowered by very strong seasoning. I imagine this is much like vegetarian versions of meals such as quorn, although I haven't tried them. Smell I was pleasantly surprised by the scent of the mixture when preparing, it smelt just like sausages you'd find from a supermarket restaurant. Although the texture of the mixture is quite off-putting, the smell is quite possibly the best pro of this product.

Not the best, not the worst.
3I ordered a single pack of the sausage mix to 'trial' in my attempt to find some savoury things I enjoyed and having read previous reviews saying this mix was better than the burger. It's an absolutely strange experience both making and eating these. Making them they smell pretty bad, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to eat them! And then don't get me started on how sticky they are. But once I had them in some semblance of shape (I actually ended up with burger shapes) they cooked fine, and then came the eating! I was surprised by the first few bites, they aren't that bad at all. But I couldn't manage all of it purely because around half way through they got too seasoned and the texture began to go strange. I can see why people split this up into halves and have it with the egg mix. All in all it surprisingly tastes quite meaty (which is a nice surprise) and is seasoned wonderfully at first but hard to palette after a little while. Glad I tried them but don't think I'll be ordering again.

4When I first saw this listed in my B,L&D pack, I didn't know what to expect. I read the reviews while I made the mix and majority of the people said they made 1-2 sausages out of it. I did actually manage to make four sausages just like the picture, however the size is just 1/3 bigger than cocktail sausages. It's not as firm as a meat sausage but the flavour was nice and I also added my dried seasoning. I added some chopped garlic and 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar to the pan when cooking and it was even more delicious. It can definitely satisfy my meat cravings.

Pretty good
4Had the sausage for tea and although the mix didn't look nice, it actually tasted very nice. I could only make one large sausage though, God knows how you could make 4 like it shows in the picture?!
