what a nice surprise!
5I received the sausage mix as part of a promotion when ordering my items from exante, although I was sceptical on how this would taste or even look when prepared. Thankfully, it turned out really well and even my partner was questioning what I was cooking up as the scent of the sausage cooking up on the frying pan made her mouth water! I've ordered more of these and would definitely recommend this product to others who like me were sceptical at first.

Yummy sausage mix

Try it you might like it!
4At first I was a bit 'really ....sausage?' And yes it's not a juicy Cumberland but it smells like sausage and has the texture of kind of a veggie sausage and having something that you have to cut and chew seemed to help on days I was missing conventional food.

Tasty!
5I received my free sample this afternoon with my delivery and now I'm in trouble! I'm gonna have to buy the box of 50 because these are so tasty! I made the mixture as instructions but when it came to roll into sausage shapes I really didn't fancy faffing around with the goo. So instead I blobbed it in and flattened it in the pan and made sausage meat patty burgers  seriously tasty, maybe a little dry buts probably because I kind of burnt them a little... Well the smoke alarm was going crazy for a reason! They taste Well seasoned and a strong meaty sausage flavour, and to make it a meal of it I put a poached egg on top! After weeks of shakes and porridge it was a meal fit for a king! Or at least a exante princess !

5Loooove the pancakes and breakfast eggs. Tomato soup was too sweet for my liking and was not a fan of the sausage mix, but could live off the pancakes and eggs and chocolate orange bars 

Exante Diet Sausage Mix
5Love love love these. I am such a fussy eater but these are devine. Make them into little patties with some scrambled egg and I feel like I'm being naughty and having a fry-up. Personally I think they taste a little like sage and onion stuffing. Yummy

So Tasty
5When I started mixing the sausage mix, it felt a little stodgy and sticky. I found it really hard to roll into sausage shape as I got more on my hands then in the pan! Eventually I managed a few small chipolata looking sausages. After I licked my hands clean & started cooking the mix...WOW! The smell was incredible. And as for the taste.. YUMMY!!! Only down side, I wanted more! 5 stars :)

5When I saw these advertised I was really looking forward to trying them, and I wasn't disappointed. Like others I made them into sausage patty shapes rather than sausage shape as they still looked a little soggy in the tube shape! I added a bit of black pepper, some chilli flakes and a drop of Tabasco when they were cooked (I like spicy food, can you guess?) They were absolutely yummy! I'm a veggie anyway so used to this type of flavour in my veggie sausages. I am placing my order today for a full box! These will certainly be part of my meals going forward, another two months yet, but I'm looking forward to having yet another savoury meal in my selection. And some of the ideas already sound great, I love the spaghetti and meatball idea!! Thank you other exante member!!

YUM!!
5I was very skeptical about this product, I have always hated "fake meat" products and when I thought about this pack all I could think off was the truly awful "veggie" sausages my gran served up to me as a teenager when I attempted to be vegetarian! I am usually a shake and cereal bar girl but have been missing actually "cooking" and eating something. I was wary of ordering too many but my cousin is also following the plan and she ordered a few packs to try so let me have one over the weekend. All I can say is THANK YOU EXANTE!!! They have a real flavour, not sure I would say it is particularly meaty but it is very tasty and the texture is nothing like I was expecting. I think I shall now be ordering in bulk with the egg pack and enjoying a cooked "brunch" on a sunday after a lovely long lie :D I could even imagine making them into smaller meatballs to add to the spag bol pack for a heartier meal :D
